Progress

I am going to be brave here and post some progress pictures.

These first pictures were taken about 6 months ago in the first week I started training with my Personal Trainer, after I had my 'ah ha' moment at Body Power and really started using USN supplements. Even though I had gained weight over the year prior to this point, I was underweight, under eating and doing a crazy amount of cardio.
I don't like looking at these pictures but they serve as a good reminder of how far I have come both physically and mentally in a short space of time, and how I NEVER want to go back to this.

The next pictures were taken 3 months after, just before I started the USN Challenge. I was actually still slightly underweight and mentally was going through all sorts of emotions that I won't go into - but one week I was high and happy, the next I was low and really struggling. I was eating an extremely calorie dense, clean diet and had pretty much cut all cardio (not something i would usually recommend as it's great for fitness, but it was necessary for me at this time)

The next picture was taken on Sunday (9th December 2012) 6 months on from the first pictures.
Although I am really proud of how far I have come in a short space of time, I still have a looong way to go before I get to where I want to be (even then I know I will want more). I have documented the outlines of my training and nutrition both on the blog and on Twitter
I am a completely different person now, both physically and more importantly mentally, and all I can say is that it is the result of solid training, consistent nutrition and supplementation, courage, determination and one hell of a lot of hard graft! I wouldn't have it any other way, and it won't stop here - there's even more hard work and true grit to come and I can't wait :))

  1. Hey sounds like your doing great! I am also currently trying to put some weight on through increasing my muscle mass and finding it super hard I fear I am eating way too little.
I would appreciate it if you could tell me more about your nutrition- what do you eat for 3500 calories- clean eating and high calories seems impossible!
